The Advanced Standing Diploma is for those who have already covered some of the subjects in EIN’s Diploma in Holistic Nutrition.
This may have been through a university, or with another healthcare program.
Edison Institute of Nutrition is an online school of holistic nutrition that respects your previous education and will award transfer credits for post-secondary subjects.
Many applicants have a varied educational background which includes courses related to EIN’s curriculum (i.e., biology, anatomy & physiology, chemistry, nutrition), completed at other institutions.
If you hold such accreditations, you can submit an advanced standing assessment request. If Edison Institute of Nutrition deems your education to be the equivalent of what you would learn here, you may be granted an exemption from repeating those courses.
To apply, complete the advanced standing application and submit a copy of your previous transcripts.
From there, EIN will create a customized program just for you.

Advanced Standing Diploma FAQs
Do I need a transcript to apply for exemptions?
Yes. Along with your advanced standing application, please submit a copy of your transcript, including your grades, from your previous school. This is how we determine which exemptions you will be entitled to receive.
How will exemptions change the tuition fee?
You will not be charged tuition for the subjects from which you are exempt. Our pay-by-the-module plan applies to custom programs. The one-time payment option is not available for this program.
Will I be tested on the exempt subjects?
No, you will not be required to write a test on these specific subjects. Your midterm and final exams may include test questions on exempt subjects, which you would be expected to answer.
Will I still be allowed 3 years time, or will that be reduced?
Even if you have a custom program, you will still have 3 years to complete the program.
