Bringing you the best of both Holistic Nutrition and Homeopathic Medicine

Homeopathy can be a great complement to your nutrition practice, helping you to address emotional issues and disturbances on the dynamic plane, in addition to nutritional imbalances.

Nutrition provides the building blocks our bodies need. Homeopathy gently stimulates the body’s vital force to activate vitality and promote overall well-being.

Edison Institute of Nutrition has partnered with the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM), in order to bring you the best of both fields of practice. As an EIN student or graduate, you will be exempt from the nutrition courses required to earn your homeopathy diploma from CCHM.

As a student or graduate of CCHM, you will be exempt from many of the health science subjects required to earn your diploma in holistic nutrition from EIN. The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine offers flexible online programs suited to even the busiest lifestyle, which are available to begin at any time.

The Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine is an approved program, recognized by the College of Homeopaths of Ontario, the regulatory body for the homeopathic profession in Ontario.

It is also North America’s longest-running Homeopathic College and the only Canadian Homeopathic School accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America (ACHENA).

CCHM’s mission is to expand the reach of homeopathy worldwide, understanding its power to restore health in a rapid, gentle, and permanent manner. With an abundance of support to meet each student’s individual needs and an incredible teaching faculty, CCHM trains on a foundation of Hahnemann’s classical homeopathy while enhancing that foundation with modern homeopathic concepts.

Homeopathy FAQs

Can I study completely online or do I have to come to Toronto?

All of our programs can be completed online from the comfort of your home. We have students from all over the world. Additionally, our programs are built with students’ individual needs in mind. That means we have e‑learning programs which can be done online at each student’s own pace, or our traditional online program that includes attending live class sessions online and is done at the pace required by the class schedules.

Are there payment plans?

Yes, we have flexible payment plans and installments.

I do not have any previous science training. Can I still study to become a homeopath?

Yes, CCHM teaches you everything you need to know to become a proficient homeopath who can be successful in practice.

Additionally, we have programs tailored to students’ individual backgrounds. For example, we grant exceptions for applicants who are a great fit for the program but who may not have any post-secondary education. We also have accelerated learning paths tailored to healthcare professionals who have completed comparable courses to those in our programs.

I have a job and kids. How can I manage the program schedule?

Both our online and e‑learning programs have very flexible schedules to fit the lives of students with respect to their existing responsibilities. For our online program, live classes take place about one or two weekends a month from September to June. Our e‑learning program (previously known as our correspondence program) is self-study, which allows you to learn at your own pace.
