An extensive online training program that provides practitioners with every resource available to make a difference and empower those with cancer.

*This course is open to Certified/Registered Health Care Practitioners Only.

Cancer is a complex disorder with many different factors at play. Some are more genetically predisposed to it than others, but that doesn’t mean it’s just the luck of the draw.

From the food we eat to the lifestyle we lead and the environment in which we live, there are many different risk factors that can increase – or decrease — somebody’s risk of cancer.

In The Edison Institute’s Certified Holistic Cancer Practitioner Training program, you’ll learn what cancer is, and what its possible causes are. This includes an in depth exploration of the various different types of cancer, as well as current medical approaches to treating them.

You’ll also learn how diet and lifestyle can both encourage and discourage the emergence of cancer. This can help you offer a preventative model of holistic healthcare to clients who have a family history of cancer.

For those diagnosed with cancer, you’ll learn about a variety of holistic interventions to manage both its symptoms and the side effects of chemotherapy or radiation therapy treatments. This includes dietary, nutritional, and lifestyle interventions, as well as mental and emotional strategies, and other holistic therapies.
