Amy Bondar is a Nutritional Therapist, Certified Eating Psychology Coach, author, and professional speaker with over 23 years of clinical and teaching experience in nutrition and wellness. A graduate of the Edison Institute of Nutrition, Amy is proud to return to her alma mater 25 years after completing her studies — this time as an educator and course creator.
Amy combines the science of nutrition with eating psychology and a holistic understanding of the physical, mental, and emotional dimensions of health. Her areas of expertise include functional and holistic nutrition, neuro-nutrient therapy, eating psychology, cravings and food behaviours, and the mind-body connection.
Passionate about empowering the next generation of nutrition professionals, Amy brings extensive clinical experience, practical wisdom, and a compassionate teaching style to her work with students. She encourages practitioners to look beyond symptoms, consider the individual as a whole, and approach nutrition with curiosity, critical thinking, and an appreciation for individual biochemistry.
In 2026, Amy returned to Edison to create a specialized course exploring the connections between nutrition, neurotransmitters, cravings, and eating behaviours. Twenty-five years after graduating from Edison, she has come full circle, bringing the knowledge and clinical experience she has developed throughout her career back to the school that helped launch her journey in nutrition.
